SIPPY DOWNS GO-TO PLUMBING TEAM!
Looking for plumbing experts you can trust in the Sippy Downs area? We can help!
Need a plumber in Sippy Downs?
DYFA Plumbing is a local Sunshine Coast team working across Sippy Downs every week – from the Chancellor Park estates to the streets around the University of the Sunshine Coast. Leaking tap, a hot water system that’s given out, a blocked drain or a gas appliance that needs attention – we turn up on time, quote upfront and get it sorted properly the first time.
Call us on 07 5475 4152 or book online.
Plumbing in Sippy Downs
Sippy Downs is one of the Coast’s newer suburbs, built up largely from the 1990s around Chancellor Park and the University of the Sunshine Coast. That means most homes here have relatively modern PVC and copper plumbing, so the tree-root-in-clay-pipe blockages common in older suburbs like Buderim and Nambour are far less common.
What we’re actually called out for most in Sippy Downs is hot water systems reaching end of life in homes now 15 to 20 years old, leaking taps and toilets, water-pressure issues, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and gas appliance work. And with the university on the doorstep, Sippy Downs has a high share of rentals – so we also look after a lot of investment properties for local owners and property managers, where fast turnarounds and compliant, documented work matter.
For Sippy Downs landlords & property managers
With the university nearby, Sippy Downs has one of the higher shares of rental homes on the Coast. We work with local landlords and property managers on fast, documented repairs between tenancies, water-efficiency compliance for rentals, and ongoing maintenance across portfolios – one call, upfront pricing and the paperwork sorted.

I arrived at work this morning to a really bad situation in the public bathroom, needed help fast, called Dyfa Plumbing and they were amazing from the moment the call was answered (sorry I have forgotten the name of the wonderful lady who answered, I was a bit stressed) to the arrival of Joe. Not only did Joe fix the problem, he cleaned up the mess I hadn’t been able to get back too. To say Joe went above and beyond amazing service is an understatement, he’s a true champion!! And if I ever need a plumber for any job, it’s definitely going to be Dyfa. Thank guys !!

On the 18th of October an outdoor tap in the pool area of our apartment complex in Cotton Tree failed. As the job was urgent so as to prevent further damage I contacted Will from DYFA plumbing. Even though this was early on a Saturday morning, Will attended straight away (literally within minutes as he was with his family in the area) and was able to fix the issue. His professionalism was exemplary and I can't recommend them highly enough. I will be sure to recommend them for any future works our complex requires.

DYFA have been looking after our plumbing needs for many years. Definitely a 5 star company. They respond very quickly from the first phone contact to when the service is carried out.
Everyone of the staff including team of servicemen & women are extremely professional, friendly & helpful. Ben & Joel were fantastic last week when they installed a new tap bringing tank water from our tanks underneath the house & also cleaning out a blocked bathroom basin. They left the job clean & tidy, something you don't see often. I can highly recommend these boys and DYFA for your plumbing service. Thankyou.

Great, friendly and professional service from both Tom and Kale...came out for a free consultation to assess the issue and got the problem fixed the very next day, and even discounted the fee for unexpected extra parts they had to acquire to do the job. Easy 5 Stars.
Kale came around a few days earlier to fix low pressure hot water. Friendly and professional.
The issue came back a few days later, Kale came straight back with Tyra this time and fixed the issue at no extra charge.
Third time we've used DYFA. Always been great!

Had a very slow draining blocked sink....called DYFA Plumbing who attended promptly. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy fix but costs were advised upfront and they returned the following day to finalise repairs. Young Caleb was a pleasure to meet, he told me about some funny Plumbing jobs he had been to and we had a laugh whilst he was jetting the drain. Would 100% recommend 👌

Good, quick and honest!
We needed help quickly with blocked drains and DYFA Plumbing provided a quick response to a complex problem. Charlotte got the job scheduled and sorted immediately and sent Kale out early the next morning.
Early advise indicated an expensive solution but when the job was completed Kale advised we didn't need the next level of fix - so no chance DYFA are out just for your dollars only or are trying to profiteer from your crisis. Thanks heaps!
